MUSIC FOR NEW MEDIA

Course Objective:

• Developing a basic understanding about the contemporary musical applications for visual media
• Being able to determine and use right tools for selecting or producing music for the chosen visual media
• Developing skills for critical listening and basic musical analysis
• Having the basic information about ethical and legal processes for producing or licensingmusic for visual media.

Course Content

The course will cover topics such as music composition and production, sound design and synthesis, audio-visual synchronization, and music licensing and distribution. The course will also explore the history and aesthetics of music for new media, as well as the current trends and challenges in the field.
