Course Objectives: The primary objectives of this elective course are to empower students with the tools and techniques to cultivate greater self-awareness, cope with stress, and enhance overall wellbeing. During the course, a range of mindfulness practices and exercises, skills in how to pay atttention, tips to recognize how often our minds run on autopilot, and practice bringing mindfulness to present-moment experience will be highlighted. By the end of the course, students will be have the knowledge and practical skills to integrate mindfulness practices into their daily lives, ultimately leading to a greater sense of compassion and gratitude as well as a more profound connection with themselves and the world around them.

  • Observation and Attention: Skills in how to pay attention & observe

  • Mindfulness Practices and exercises 
  • Basic Breathing Techniques 
  • Flexible endurance
