A JOURNAL OF CHILDREN RIGHTS IN LEGAL DISCOURSE

Course Objectives: Children’s rights are now widely recognized on a global scale within the legal framework that establishes universal principles. While the fundamental principles of children’s rights are concretized in law, progressing the evolution of these rights in international law and historical processes, barriers to children’s access to these rights have caused to criticisms of the existing legal framework. This course aims to question the meaning of children’s rights through an interdisciplinary approach, emphasizing the contribution of rights education in this direction to both children and adults within the social culture.
